The Greek airline Sky Express has started regular flights on the Athens-Tbilisi route. Flights at Tbilisi International Airport will be operated three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
In connection with the launch of the new airline, an official welcome ceremony was held at Tbilisi International Airport, attended by Tea Zakaradze, – General Manager of TAV Georgia, the managing company of Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports, Ioaannis Grylos, the owner of Sky Express, Irakli karkashadze – Director General of the United Airports of Georgia, and representatives from the Civil Aviation Agency.
The airline will operate flights with A321neo aircraft during the winter navigation season. Since 2005, Sky Express has been operating 23 aircraft on 22 international routes around the world.
