An open recruitment day was recently conducted at Batumi International Airport to attract new personnel. Interested applicants were invited to visit the airport and present their applications directly to the Human Resources Department of TAV Georgia, the company responsible for managing both Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports. Candidates were able to submit their resumes, participate in interviews, and express their interest in applying for specific positions.

At this stage, Batumi International Airport was seeking candidates for the following positions: passenger services agents, load control and communication agents, duty officers, technical personnel, drivers, loaders, and aircraft cleaners. Each vacancy had distinct qualification requirements.

For TAV Georgia, the organization of open recruitment events has become a well-established practice to identify and hire new talent. As the largest and most stable employer in Georgia’s aviation market, TAV Georgia has operated in the country for over 20 years. During this time, the company has constructed and developed the nation’s two international airports, investing close to USD 230 million. Currently, TAV Georgia employs more than 1,700 staff members.
