Pushback operations have started in Batumi international airport for the first time. The service will make maneuvering of aircraft on the aerodrome and vacating the apron more comfortable. Within the infrastructural project marking of the aircraft parking stands were completely changed and renewed for the pushback operations as a result of which the number of stands have increased from 4 to 8 (depending on aircraft types).
