The Uzbek airline Air Samarkand has commenced operations at Batumi International Airport. The airline has already brought its first passengers to Batumi aboard an A321-NEO/CEO aircraft.
During the summer navigation season, Air Samarkand will operate three weekly flights on the Tashkent–Batumi–Tashkent route, flying every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
