An international exhibition, Routes Asia, is currently taking place in Perth, Australia, where the marketing department of TAV Airports is representing the international airports of Tbilisi and Batumi. During the event, meetings have already been held with dozens of airlines to discuss potential future collaborations. In these meetings, representatives of TAV Airports introduced the services and potential of both Tbilisi and Batumi airports to the airline representatives.

Routes Asia is one of the largest events in the Asia-Pacific region, designed to bring together airlines, tourism sector representatives, and airports in a single space. This year, over 600 business entities are participating in the event.

TAV Georgia, the managing company of Tbilisi and Batumi international airports, is constantly working on developing new routes. In 2025, eight new airlines will begin operating from Tbilisi International Airport, including British Airways, EasyJet, Edelweiss, Transavia France, Air Serbia, among others. Batumi will also see three new airlines begin operations. Regarding routes, Tbilisi will add 13 new destinations during the summer navigation season, while Batumi will add four.

Due to the development of routes and successful collaborations with airlines, Routes Europe 2025 has named Tbilisi International Airport among the top five airports with a passenger flow of up to five million.
