Tea Zakaradze, General Manager of TAV Georgia, the operator of Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports, held a joint airline committee meeting with representatives from airlines, the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Aviation Security, and the Revenue Service to review the results of the 2024 summer navigation season.
During the meeting, participants highlighted several key projects completed over the summer, including the introduction of Fast Track services, E-Gates, and the renovation of the Primeclass Lounge. These initiatives were designed to increase terminal capacity and reduce passenger queues at border control. The discussion also focused on upcoming infrastructure improvements planned for later this year and next year, particularly projects aimed at streamlining departure procedures. These improvements include the installation of additional Self Check-in kiosks and more E-Gates.
All parties expressed their commitment to cooperating in order to ensure the successful and timely completion of these projects. The General Manager also listened to the airlines’ needs and concerns, expressing her readiness to address them and continue providing efficient airport services and processes.
