In connection with the International Civil Aviation Day on December 7, TAV Georgia General Manager Tea Zakaradze welcomed Aviation University of Georgia Rector and Students in Tbilisi international airport. Ms. Zakaradze has provided scholarship for 5 students of Aviation University of Georgia to get their tuition fee financed. The students shared their views with TAV Georgia Management and thanked them for the scholarship.
The guests also viewed the photo-exhibition arranged in the departure terminal demonstrating to its visitors the history of Tbilisi airport photographed in the 20th century.
TAV Georgia is one of the largest employers for Aviation University students, Tbilisi and Batumi international airports employs dozens of students and graduates from this university every year.
„We cooperate not only with the Aviation University, but also with other universities. Our goal is to employ more young people at the airport, because the airport is developing, so the staff also needs to be updated” – Tea Zakaradze said.
The General Manager of TAV Georgia congratulated all the people employed in the aviation field on Civil Aviation Day.
International Civil Aviation Day is celebrated globally since 1994.
