Edward Plaisted, the President of Skytrax which is the most influential and prestigious consulting company in the aviation sphere visited Tbilisi international airport in order to evaluate the airport’s annual services and quality.
During the ongoing year Skytrax named Tbilisi International Airport among the 10 most improved and passenger-oriented airports of the year. This recognition by Skytrax reflects a significant increase in airport quality and service efficiency over the past 12 months and underscores the importance of year-round infrastructure projects for airport development.
This year on the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2022 in Paris, both airports under the management of TAV Georgia named as the best airports in the Eastern Europe. Batumi International Airport was included in this category for the first time, and Tbilisi – for the ninth time in a row.
