A full-scale exercise Batumi – 2022 was held at Batumi international Airport. The exercise, in accordance with the emergency situations provided by the scenario, took place in two phases.
The first stage of the modeled scenario included a threat of an aircraft explosion, particularly emergency landing of an airplane, also natural disaster and fire; the second stage included a threat of using an explosive materials on the ground objects of an airport.
Ltd Batumi Airport, Ltd Sakaeronavigacia, MIA security police department’s aviation security Batumi division, MIA Emergency situations service; State security service’s special division, mine-clearing group, Ltd My family’s clinic and Ltd Emergency medical assistance center of Batumi took part in the exercises.
Full-scale exercises are regularly held at Tbilisi and Batumi international airports. The purpose of the exercises is to increase the efficiency of responding to emergency situations and the qualification of representatives of the relevant services.
