Air traffic has resumed at Batumi International Airport. The first flight to Tel Aviv has already departed from the airport named after Alexander Kartveli, and today, February 26, an additional 12 international flights are scheduled.

Due to meteorological conditions, airline operations at Batumi Airport were suspended for two days. Despite this, TAV Georgia consistently cleared the artificial surface of the aerodrome of snow and maintained it using specialized equipment, ensuring that the airport was ready at any moment to receive an aircraft.

Considering the meteorological conditions, airlines made the decision to resume flights last night.
