Amid the growth in passenger numbers, TAV Georgia continues to develop the airport infrastructure. At Tbilisi International Airport, the artificial surface of the road and parking lot in front of the passenger terminal has been renewed over an area of 8,645 m². TAV Georgia invested 500,000 GEL in these works.
Considering the increased in passenger traffic, the goal of the management company of Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports is to improve service quality and create additional comfort for passengers. In 2024, the number of passengers at Tbilisi International Airport increased by 29% compared to the previous year, while at Batumi Airport, also managed by TAV Georgia, a historic record was set with a 53% increase in passenger traffic.
Over the past 20 years, TAV Georgia has invested up to 225 million USD in the construction and development of Tbilisi and Batumi airports. In addition, it is the largest employer in the aviation sector. Currently, more than 1,700 people work at TAV Georgia and its subsidiary companies.
